Before creating my full-time coaching practice I was a General Manager and Vice President of Training and Cultural Development. for a regional pharmacy staffing agency, helping them to grow 500% in under 10 years. After that I launched my own executive coaching and leadership training business, which I have run for the past 13 years; for a total of over 20 years of success-oriented coaching.
My original practice focus was on family-owned businesses in generational transition, and leading small group leadership trianings for executives working with Fortune 500 Companies like Jones Lang LaSalle, Pfizer, Bayer and others.
With a background in acting and directing,(MFA, DePaul University), I learned to combine the lessons learned in leading others to be dynamic on stage with practical entrepreneurial skills, gleaning the best lessons available in the realm of coaching, self-management tools, including time, effort and productivity skills. Many of these tools have been compiled in my book 'If It's to Be'
I am currently the Executive Director of a regional not for profit gallery and art school, located on Chicago's north shore, and have led the organization through some of the toughest challenges it has ever faced. My management and leadership syle is 'culture-focused, as discussed in my TEDx Talk, and I continue to coach people toward success., not by giving advice, but by empowering them with a set of tools that they can use again and again in all area of their lives. This coaching model is not 'advice' or 'what I would do If I were you'. All my clients work directly with me, not someone I've trained in my model, and I guarantee full value in every session.
